The weather made a switch overnight bringing much warmer temperatures. Little to no wind brought about good fishing conditions. Inshore boats spent the day fishing for King Mackerel and returned with some nice catches from the ocean side of Hatteras Inlet. Offshore boats went out live baiting for Kings as well, They also got on a few Blackfin Tuna. Bottom fishing was good with Triggerfish being thrown in the box. All reported a beautiful day on the water! Get your trip in before winter weather settles in and stock your freezer for the holidays!

It actually feels like Fall today - cooler temperatures and a strong NW wind. The wind is supposed to turn north with gusts up to 30 mph through tomorrow. We had one charter to fish offshore today and they returned with lots of big King Mackerel and some Blackfin Tuna. One boat fished inshore and got on good Red Drum bites along with Gray Trout. A few boats out fishing Offshore today. They found limits of King Mackerel while live bait fishing. Lots of citation weight King Mackerel. There were also some Blackfin Tuna in the mix. Boats returned early as the weather offshore got choppier as the day went on. Inshore boats were finding some nice Red Drum and Speckled Trout.

Anglers experienced another great day of Red Drum fishing in the Pamlico Sound. They also got on a good gray Trout bite. Inshore charters run morning and/or afternoon trips. Beautiful conditions were reported from offshore. They began the day live baiting for King Mackerel, some being citation size. A fair Blackfin Tuna bite helped to fill the box along with some bottom fish. November weather has been mild so far - let's hope that it holds out for a while!

A pretty consistent SE wind kept the offshore boats tied to the dock today. A couple of our inshore boats reported catching limits of Red Drum and scattered Speckles. The wind doesn't look like it's going to calm down this week and with the chances of rain increasing, we will have to see what tomorrow brings.

Another gorgeous day on the Outer Banks and a couple of the big boats were able to take advantage. Inshore boats had their limit of Red Drum and Sea Mullet. Release had a good day for King Mackerel. Sunny days, warm weather and good fishing, a perfect recipe for a lot of fun.

Several boats out fishing Offshore today. They had excellent catches of citation size King Mackerel and some Wahoo. There were also fair Dolphin catches, as well as Blackfin Tuna. Inshore boats had good catches of Red Drum, Speckled Trout and Bluefish.

Wow, what a beautiful day! Plenty of sunshine, temps in the 70s, and great fishing. Inshore anglers continue to get on an excellent Drum bite. They returned with good catches of Gray Trout as well. Live baiting for King Mackerel provided good action and charters returned early with limits. Dolphin, Wahoo, Yellowfin and Blackfin Tuna were available for those that fished the Gulf Stream. The fishing season continues to be productive this Fall! Inshore anglers got on good catches of Speckled Trout. They reported a great Drum bite, with limits of Keepers. Live baiting for King Mackerel produced a nice class of fish. The Blackfin Tuna bite was good, along with a few Wahoo and Dolphin thrown in. It was a great day to be fishing, offshore and inshore trips had a good day. Offshore anglers had a fun time catching King Mackerel on live bait, with Blackfin Tuna mixed in. Some boats wreck fished and caught Red Snapper, Black Sea Bass, Triggerfish. Inshore anglers had a good time catching Gray Trout, and Red Drum in the Pamlico Sound.

Cool temperatures have been escorted in with NW winds howling through the area. One boat attempted to go offshore, however choppy conditions kept them near shore where they caught Spanish Mackerel, Spot, Croaker, Grey Trout, and Bluefish. They reported calmer conditions near shore along with good fishing! Inshore anglers continue to experience a great Red Drum bite. Today's catches were the best yet!

Not the best start to a new month. Overcast skies for most of the day turned to pouring rain in the late afternoon. All boats stayed at the docks. Previous issues with webcam not displaying for some people using google Chrome have been fixed!

Today's high winds kept all the big boats at the dock as well as most of the inshore boats. However, a few brave souls ventured out into the sound. They caught limits of Red Drum and some Speckled Trout. They are calling for the winds to continue for the next few days. We hope to have some boats out on Sunday, so check back then for more fishing news.

Lots of boats fishing both Offshore and Inshore on this beautiful fall day with temps in the 70's. Offshore boats were catching limits of King Mackerel and citation size Blackfin Tuna. Inshore boats were catching Red Drum. Some of our Inshore boats fishing on the ocean side even caught a Blackfin Tuna and some King Mackerel today.

Another beautiful Fall day on the island. Inshore anglers continue to find great catches of Speckled Trout and Red Drum. Inshore trips run half days in the morning and afternoon and are a great way to introduce children of all ages to fishing. Offshore charters reported "slick calm" conditions. The Blackfin Tuna bite was good along with a fair Wahoo bite. Dolphin fishing was fair along with a few King Mackerel. Bottom fishing included Triggerfish and Snappers. Quite the smorgasbord for the grill!
