Friday, April 23, 2021
A little bumpy this morning for the offshore boats, but was pretty this afternoon. A variety of fish were caught for sport and the table. They consisted of good numbers of bottom fish, few blackfin, yellowfin tuna, dolphin, wahoo and some king mackerel. Yum!Yum!
What a nice day to be inshore reeling in the big red drum. One Captain said it was epic.

A few big boats ventured offshore today and caught their share of Blackfin Tuna, Wahoo and Dolphin. Inshore boats were on the Red Drum for another day.

Scrappy fishing for the big boats today. They had scattered Yellowfin Tuna, Blackfin Tuna, Wahoo and Dolphin. Inshore boats had their share of Red Drum again today. Hatteras Fever II caught a Bluefin Tuna.

Nice thundershowers this afternoon let the sun shine as the big boats unloaded their catch. King Mackerel, Dolphin, Wahoo and the Tunas, Yellowfin and Blackfin hit the dock. Tuna Duck released the first Blue Marlin of the season. Black Pearl got on the Red Drum again this morning.

Warmer temps and a mostly cloudy sky saw most of the boats going out today. Offshore had some Dolphin, Wahoo, Yellowfin Tuna and Blackfin Tuna. Inshore boats were on the Red Drum action again today.

Chilly conditions today didn't slow the fishing down. Offshore boats had pretty good Yellowfin catches along with a few Blackfin Tuna, some Dolphin, a few Wahoo and a few King Mackerel. Inshore boats were on the Red Drum again.

It turned out to be a beautiful day on the water today. Offshore boats headed out in some chop this morning but the wind backed off and the seas calmed down. They caught a couple of Dolphin, some Wahoo and scattered Yellowfin Tuna. Inshore boats had citation Red Drum again today.

Another blustery day on the water but not breezy enough for the inshore boats. It was excellent Red Drum fishing for them today. Tightline and Black Pearl were on them again.

The wind let up for today and the boats took advantage of it. The offshore boats had good catches of Yellowfin Tuna with a few Wahoo and Dolphin being caught. They also had a few Blackfin Tuna and a lot of Albacore. Inshore boats were on the Puppy Drum again and some citation Red Drum. Red Drum is a fine-eating fish, especially when it's Hatteras Style Stewed Drum.

It's been a breezy last couple of days. Inshore boats were the only ones to go out today. Black Pearl and Tightline got on the Puppy Drum and caught some pretty puppies.

Another stellar day of fishing. Despite spotty fishing and breezy conditions, the boats caught some of everything again. A few Dolphin, a couple of King Mackerel, some Wahoo, good catches of Yellowfin Tuna, Amberjacks, Barracudas, Bluefin Tuna, some Albacore, good Blackfin Tuna and some bottom fish to round off the list.

Another beauty day as the boats headed out. They had pretty good catches of Dolphin, Wahoo, Blackfin Tuna and Yellowfin Tuna. The inshore boats had the best Red Drum fishing day they've ever seen. The days are heating up and so is the fishing. We had several boats go out today both inshore and offshore. They caught some of just about everything. There were good catches of Yellowfin Tuna with some limits caught. They had King Mackerel, Albacore, Blackfin Tuna, Wahoo and some scattered Dolphin. Inshore boats had several citation Red Drum released.

Happy Easter to everyone. The Release went fishing today and caught 4 Wahoos and a couple of Yellowfin Tuna. It was a beautifully sunny day and good weather for fishing. The coming week is looking fishy so book your trip today.

It was a very warm spring-like day today. The Release went offshore and had plenty of Yellowfin Tuna and a Wahoo. Our inshore boats did pretty well with Red Drum also. The wind blew the fog away this morning and the sun came out. Black Pearl and Tightline went fishing and both had a good day with Puppy Drum. What a difference a day makes. Businesses are opening for the season in the villages and the weather is shaping up to make a great spring and summer. We are getting new items in at our marina store every day so come on in and check us out.
