The wind is still blowing so it was another day of the big boats staying tied to the docks. Our inshore boat Black Pearl was able to have an excellent day. It was a stellar Red Drum day with mainly keepers and big Bluefish.
It looks like tomorrow the wind will lay enough for the big boats to be untied.
Saturday, October 16, 2021
It started out to be a pretty and calm day this morning. By the time the big boats returned to the dock the wind had picked up a little out of the SW. It was a scrappy day for some and for others it was a very good live bait day. They had real good King Mackerel and big Blackfin Tuna. Along with some Dolphin and a little Tunny. They also had a Barracuda and a couple of Cobia. Tuna Duck released a Sailfish and Bluefin Tuna were spotted around and are starting to show up. Inshore boats had their limits of Spanish Mackerel, limits on some pretty keeper Red Drum today and big Bluefish.
Tomorrow looks to be a blow day with strong North winds from a cold front going through. Monday may be more of a fishable day.
