A breezy South West wind blowing up to 25kts pushed 6ft waves keeping all offshore boats at the dock.

A less breezy Sound allowed inshore anglers some good Red Drum catches and lots of Blue Fish! Afternoon trips caught limits of Red Drum!

The only way to beat this heat is to get out on the water! Fishing inshore or offshore with family or friends is the thing to do on Hatteras Island.

Inshore fishing resulted in good catches of Spanish Mackerel, some Red Drum and even a few Oyster Toadfish this morning.

Billfish were biting offshore. Our fleet released a Blue Marlin, a White Marlin, and four Sailfish. Dolphin fishing was scrappy today, although most boats brought in small catches. There were a few Wahoo and Blackfin Tuna caught was well.

Keep in mind that we offer Make-up Charters for groups that have less than 6 people for offshore trips. We have a Deli on site for breakfast and lunch and we have overnight accommodations.

Inshore anglers had fun this morning with Red Drum releases (some citations). They also caught some Spanish Mackerel. This afternoon brought a real good catch of Spadefish, Gray Trout, and Bluefish.

Offshore, anglers had a fair catch of Dolphin, a few Wahoo, and scattered Blackfin Tuna. Bottom fish included Triggerfish and Sea Bass. A White Marlin was released. It was a beautiful day to be on the water with Carolina blue skies and fairly calm conditions. Beat the Spring heat by fishing the Gulf Stream or Pamlico Sound.
