This afternoon brought Speckled Trout, Puppy Drum, and several Cobia. Sea Creature released a Blue Marlin and a Sailfish offshore. Dolphin fishing was fair. The Wahoo bite bite was strong for some. It has been an exciting day of fishing out of Hatteras Harbor Marina. Inshore anglers experienced an excellent Red Drum bite today. Bluefish and Spanish Mackerel provided a good bite inshore and near shore. One boat went wreck fishing and boated Triggerfish and Vermillion Snapper. Almost our entire fleet fished offshore and the boat parade out of the creek this morning was a pretty sight! The Billfish bite was on today! Four Blue Marlin were released and six Sailfish were released - way to go anglers! Wahoo fishing continues to be good. A few Dolphin and Blackfin Tuna were caught as well. Despite rainy and overall overcast conditions, most all of our fleet stayed busy on the water today. Our inshore fleet had a great time catching lots of Bluefish. Spanish Mackerel fishing was good as well. Some Speckled Trout made it into the fish box. Even though it was overcast on shore, offshore anglers enjoyed a beautiful slick calm day fishing. Wahoo and Dolphin fishing continues to be good. One Blue Marlin and two Sailfish were released. The weather is going to be a little unsettled for the next couple of days - but the fish don't seem to mind - besides they are already wet!

Winds blew from the SW creating a big swell offshore, so no boats fished today. Inshore anglers got on the Speckled Trout again this morning. Looking forward to better weather tomorrow, so check back or come to the dock between 4-5 p.m. to watch the catch come in!
